Introduction
The Global Worship Leaders Forum (GWLF) is a visionary initiative that empowers worship leaders worldwide to go beyond traditional worship settings. By equipping them with mentorship, discipleship, and resources, GWLF mobilizes them to become agents of change in their communities. The forum focuses on using worship as a catalyst for social transformation, particularly supporting marginalized groups such as teen mothers, underprivileged students in ghetto communities, and individuals in need of vocational training.
Problem Statement
Many talented worship leaders are limited to the four walls of the church, unaware of their potential to drive social change. Meanwhile, vulnerable groups such as teen mothers and impoverished youth face significant barriers to education and skill development. Without intervention, these individuals remain trapped in cycles of poverty, lacking both hope and opportunity

About the Founder – Luis Derrick Adika
Luis Derrick Adika is a worship visionary, community mobilizer, and founder of the Global Worship Leaders Forum (GWLF)—a movement birthed in 2018 to transform worship leaders into spiritual reformers and agents of community impact. With a passion for raising altar ministers who carry both skill and Spirit, Derrick has mentored and trained worship leaders across seven countries, emphasizing the call to go beyond performance into prophetic service and social transformation.
Derrick currently serves as the Director of Operations at Kingdom Ambassadors TV (KATV), a Media house with a profound vision for society-one that is enriched with spiritual understanding and cherishes the sanctity of families as ordained by a higher purpose. We are dedicated to serving as the catalyst that elevates spiritual awareness, upholds moral values, and strengthens family unity, irrespective of religious affiliations.Luis Derrick provides strategic oversight for ministry content, spiritual alignment, and operations. KATV is a fast-growing platform dedicated to equipping believers through media, worship, and revival-driven teaching.
He is also a committed member of his local church, Destiny Life Church, where he worships under the spiritual covering of Bishop Philip Katutu. Destiny Life remains the soil of his spiritual growth, accountability, and pastoral care—a place where family, community, and prayer shape his walk with Christ.
Through GWLF, Derrick leads initiatives like the Worshippers Podcast, Tunes & Testimonies, and the Awaken the Sound convention, creating spaces for discipleship, mentorship, and artistic excellence. His teachings are rooted in biblical depth, cultural relevance, and the conviction that worship must touch the streets, not just the sanctuary.
Derrick is joyfully married to Mercy Mbalu, his strong and graceful partner in life and ministry. Together, they represent a testimony of restoration, purpose, and a shared calling to empower others.
